SLAVONICE TOWN

The old renaissance town of Slavonice lies in the south-western Moravia on the border with Austria, where the borders of the three historic lands of Moravia, Bohemia and Austria meet. Urban conservation area Slavonice, which belongs to the grouo of renaissance towns of southeast Bohemia, is nominated as a UNESCO monument. In the city center there are many historical monuments in the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque style.

The town is nestled in the beautiful countryside at the foot of the Czech Canada park. You will be charmed by the surroundings of the town, by the amount of picturesque corners, streams, ponds and deep forests. The town is a gem with a compact set of Renaissance buildings forming an urban conservation area.
